A pilgrimage from St. James to St. James

-
Inma Tamayo

We are a group of 15 Slovak pilgrims. It took us 100 days of walking to get to Santiago de Compostela. It was a great experience, a great adventure and a great madness at the same time.
We started in Levóca (Slovakia) at the St. James Church, so that we did a pilgrimage from St. James to St. James. Even if we had not enough time to make all the way by foot, and we had to help ourselves with the train (Salzburg, AUT-St. Etienne, FRA), we did more than 2500Km. But of course, it is not a matter of distance. There is never problem in your legs, problem can be just in your head.
Thank God, St. James and the great people we met along the Camino, we have all luckily done this Way.
